Legal drag racing is a lot of fun but is limited to the amount of street cars that are allowed to race. A drug addict can't go an hour without a fix, the same story applies with drag racers - they cant wait for the next race (which normally comes around once a month). So in order to curb their craving they take to the streets.
Organisers want traffic officials to block certain roads so that they can lay down the rubber. What are your thoughts on this matter?

I am in two minds. Whilst I see the neeed for die hard passionate drag racers to get thier fix, this is also a very dangerous hobby. Carte Blanche last night covered an insert on illegal drag racing, and inevitbaly there are always casulaties.
